THREE SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS FOR WLC CENTRAL IOWA CONFERENCE
DES MOINES, Iowa - Scholarship applications for professionals, students, and non-profit organizations are available for the 2021 Women Lead Change Central Iowa Conference scheduled for Oct. 27-28, 2021, in Des Moines. The deadline for all scholarship applications is Sept. 15, 2021. Visit Scholarships at https://www.wlcglobal.org/
The Joining Voices Scholarships will be granted to individuals from non-profit organizations whose mission is to serve and provide advocacy for minority communities.
Professional Track Scholarships are awarded to individuals from companies of any size who are seeking registration assistance.
Student Track Scholarships will be granted to full-time undergraduate/graduate students of colleges or universities for Day Two of the Conference.
Individuals are eligible to receive a one-time scholarship to attend a single conference. Once awarded, individuals are not eligible to apply for future scholarships. Student Track recipients are eligible to transition to the Professional Track to apply to receive a one-time scholarship award. Scholarships cover the full cost of event registration only, are not awarded in cash, and do not include any travel expenses.
To date, Women Lead Change has awarded over 100 scholarships to professionals and students who are interested in access to leadership resources available through conferences.
The Central Iowa Conference features keynote speakers Luvvie Ajayi Jones, Jennifer Pastiloff, Laura Vanderkam, Brad Johnson, David Smith, Selena Rezvani, Mariana Atencio, Judi Holler, Gayle Tzemach Lemmon, along with breakout sessions, networking luncheons, and the Iowa Women of Achievement Awards. EMC Insurance is our Presenting Sponsor. Registration for the two-day event is $550/person and is available for in-person or virtual tickets.
