Speak Tank Competition at Women Lead Change Conference: Des Moines

SPEAK TANK COMPETITION AT WOMEN LEAD CHANGE CONFERENCE: DES MOINES

DES MOINES, Iowa - Women Lead Change will host a new concept called Speak Tank at the 2023 Women Lead Change Conference: Des Moines, on Oct. 18-19, at the Iowa Events Center. Up-and-coming speakers can apply for one-of-six spots to host a 20-minute breakout session at the Conference. A volunteer judging panel and conference attendees will rank each speaker’s presentation quality, content, and presence. The winner will earn a speaking slot at a future Women Lead Change event.

“Participating in and winning Speak Tank in Cedar Rapids connected me with so many new people that I now call friends, and has allowed me to continue to share a message that I’ve always been so passionate about, but never felt like I had the platform to share it on,” Brandi Spurling said. “I loved every second of the competition and am still feeling the love and support four months later!”

Keynote speakers announced to date for the conference include Tiffany Atkinson, Dr. Wendy Borlabi, Tiffany Dufu, Dr. Steve Robbins, and Sara Ross. Conference tickets are $550/person and include access to the two-day in-person conference featuring 6 keynote speakers, 3 breakout sessions, breakfast, lunch, and peer-to-peer networking.
