RSVP for the SmartHer Money Conference

It’s time to power up your finances. That’s right. The SmartHER Money Conference will be 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on October 17 at Bien VenU Event Center, 7400 Hudson Rd, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Expect empowering financial discussions. Manisha Thakor, the founder of MoneyZen.com, will provide the keynote address. Expert panelists will answer questions about budgeting, saving, planning for retirement and other financial questions. Plus, inspiring exercises will guide you through thoughtful considerations for your financial situation and help you make an action plan to meet your financial goals.
Hosted by the Iowa Insurance Division, SmartHER Money is a public outreach program meant to increase women’s financial literacy. The information is free and geared toward educating and empowering women to face their fears and anxieties about money, retirement, financial planning, and investing.
All expertise levels are welcome - from the expert investor to the person who needs to know how to manage a budget. The SmartHER Money Conference will help you understand your current relationship with money so you can start to take positive action.
Plus, this event is free. Programs such as SmartHER are funded in part by revenue from financial fraud and other prosecutions.
